Whether I’m fine tuning the look you love or helping you try something new, I believe that hair is a wonderful and harmless way to express yourself! I officially started this career in 2009 but my love for this business started as a shy teeny bopper clutching a picture of Meg Ryan’s choppy bob. (You know the one) printed off of my parents computer. Lol. This was gonna be more than my usual trim so my mom took me to HER hair stylist and woah. I loved how excited and heard I felt and on top of it all I left feeling so different, so confident! Ultimately the belief that I could somehow do this for another person started to grow. I found myself at Z Hair Academy in Lawrence, Kansas 13 years ago and never looked back, I have met so many incredible guests turned friends, I think you will be one too! 🤘✨
My Specialties include: Long Layered Hair, Soft Bob’s, Beachy Cuts, Fades, Naturally Inspired Hair Styling, Baby Lights & Balayage Hair Color.

Hey I’m Jo! I'm just a simple (proudly!) weird girl who loves anime, food, & good laughs. I believe that everyone should live their lives out loud! So I chose this industry to help my guests do just that. Seeing the magic in someone's eyes when they look in a mirror and absolutely love what they see makes my soul soar. ✨ Behind the chair my skills range from lived in color, brave reds to bodacious vivid’s. Everyone's hair is different, and I'm always up for a good challenge. So if you’ve got a tall order, come to me. Let's get you in my chair and see what kind of magic we can make!

Cristian grew up in Columbia, Missouri and attended the Paul Mitchell School in St. Louis Missouri, Graduating in 2014. He strongly believes in helping each person feel beautiful inside and out. He loves blonding services, lived in brunettes, custom colors, long layered haircuts, blow outs, hair treatment’s and men’s crew cuts. Cristian strongly believes in continuing education and stays up-to-date on current trends and color techniques through education. It is this passion for higher education that has driven Cristian to become a National Redken Artist + Educator! When he is not behind the chair you will find him cozied up with his pups enjoying a glass of wine or checking out a local restaurant with family and friends!
